About
the publisher
My name is Cassidy Kendall, and I am a Hot Springs-based freelance journalist. A native of Camden, Arkansas, I was acquainted with Hot Springs at a very young age as a vacation destination. When I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism, I made the familiar vacation destination my home. In 2019 I began working for the local newspaper, The Sentinel-Record. Through this post-college job, I got to know the community very well and fell in love with it. After two years of working for the newspaper, I started The Post in June 2021. The thing I love most is getting to continue to tell the community's story through this platform and offer it to readers at no cost. I hope you enjoy it, and my "door" is always open to questions, comments or feedback. Cheers!
