Chamber of Commerce spotlights community pillars at annual banquet

Hundreds of pillars within the Hot Springs community could be found in a single room on the evening of Cinco De Mayo.


At Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort on Thursday, the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce held its 2022 Annual Banquet, highlighting the exceptional people, organizations and businesses that made significant contributions in the community in 2021. The event was sponsored by National Park Medical Center.


Large Business of the Year


Large Business of the Year finalists included Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, Magic Springs Theme and Water Park, Walmart Pharmacy on Central Avenue, Xpress Boats/Veranda Luxury Pontoons, National Park Medical Center, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs and Triumph Airborne Structures.


And the winner is... National Park Medical Center!


Small Business of the Year


Small Business of the Year finalists included DeLuca's Pizza, Your CBD Store, New Hope Therapy, Puckett's Pressure Washing and Window Cleaning LLC, Superior Bathhouse Brewery, Trent's Flooring Solutions Inc., Stubby's BBQ, Lloyd's Auto Sales and 420 Eats Food Truck Court.


And the winner is... Trent's Flooring Solutions Inc.!


Organization of the Year


Organization of the Year finalists included The CALL in Garland & Hot Spring Counties, Abilities Unlimited of Hot Springs, Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center, Healthy Connections, High Impact Movement, Cutwell 4 Kids, Oaklawn Center on Aging, Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic, and National Park College.


And the winner is... Abilities Unlimited of Hot Springs!


Woman of the Year


Woman of the Year finalists included Mary Zunick, Dr. Jessica Cannon, Cora Jones, Kai Coggin, Candace Young, Laura Pumphrey, Karen Kight, Noelle Stephens, Dr. Stephanie Nehus, Kathy Packard and Miriam Ramirez.


And the winner is... Miriam Ramirez!


Man of the Year


Man of the Year finalists included Wayne Smith, Dennis Berry, Officer Sam Spencer, Dr. Kevin Hale, Amos Gray, Matt Barrett, Chris Chapmond, Dr. Gene Shelby, Anthony Tidwell and Dr. Jack Porter.

Volunteer of the Year
